GRATA's German partner took part in German business conferences

On February 16, 2005 the Special Dinner of the American-German Business Club was held in Frankfort-on-the-Main (Germany). GRATA Law Firm' s Partner in Germany, Mr. Lutz Schumacher, took active part in that event. Mr. Schumacher initiated the participation of H. E. Mr. Kairat Sarybay, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Germany at the Dinner, whose speech became a key part of the event. The speech titled «Republic of Kazakhstan: Key to peace and prosperity in Central Asia» attracted much attention of the participants. The German businessmen are getting more interested and active in this region and want to be up-to-date with the processes occurring in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

There were about 70 participants at the Dinner, the representatives of big companies of various spheres, including law firms.

The official part of the Dinner was followed by a cocktail reception sponsored by GRATA Law Firm.

Next day, on February 17, 2005 Mr. Schumacher also took part in the Kazakhstan Business Conference held at the IHK Munich (Germany). There were about 120-140 guests. That big number demonstrated the growing interest on Kazakhstan among German businessmen and their need to expand abroad. The idea of organizing business trips to fairs in Kazakhstan was widely discussed at the conference, as well.

During the conference Mr. Schumacher met with the representatives of some big German companies who got interested that GRATA could provide them legal services throughout Central Asia.
