A new Partner

GRATA is happy to inform its friends of the appointment of its senior lawyer, Mr. Almat Daumov, to a Partner of the firm from 11 October 2006.

This appointment is evidence of the high appraisal of Almat's work for the Firm.

Almat joined GRATA as a paralegal. Thanks to his knowledge, talent and striving for professional experience and diversification, Almat became a Senior Lawyer of the Firm and head of the Tax Law Group in 2005.

Almat graduated from the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University. At present, he is a scientist at the Private Law Research Institute and his Ph. D. thesis is entitled «Law regulation of arbitration in the Republic of Kazakhstan». Almat is a Member of the Kazakhstan Petroleum Lawyers' Association.
