New Year party for disabled children

On December 25^th, 2004 in the KIMEP building, the Almaty branch of the Special Olympics Kazakhstan held a New Year Party for its youth membership. More than three hundred and fifty children from schools for disabled children, boarding schools, the Center of social protection and other institutions took part in this party. The event was widely covered in the media, and received television coverage.

Large companies responded to the call of the organizer to sponsor the party. GRATA Law Firm was among those companies which contributed to the organisation of the event.

Similar events for disabled children are occasionally held. GRATA always tries to aid in organising such events.
