Kazakhstan-Estonia Business Forum “Business possibilities today and tomorrow”, February 14, 2011

GRATA Law Firm had participated in the Kazakhstan-Estonia Business Forum “Business possibilities today and tomorrow”, which took place on February 14, 2011 in Astana at Diplomat Hotel.

The Forum was held within the framework of the Intergovernmental  Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation with participation of the Minister of Economic Affairs  and Communications Juhan Parts and representatives of business community of Estonia.

Organizators of the event were Honorable Consulate of Estonian Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan and “Estonian Logistics Cluster” Association of Logistics and Transit with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abelgazi Kussainov, Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonian Republic Juhan Parts as well as representatives of Diplomatic Missions of both countries made opening speeches.

The main purpose of the Forum was discussion of the issues on expanding trade, economic and investment relationships between two countries. The largest in Estonia cargo-passenger  harbor complex Tallin Harbour JSC, Estonia Railway JSC, Tallin Airport JSC, Sillamae Harbour JSC and VOPAK E.O.S. JSC (transportation and oil products storing) represented their firms and shared good experience of doing business with Kazakhstani companies rendering transport, shiping and logistics services.
