Location: Almaty

Position: Lawyer in Customs Law

Successful candidate will become part of a Tax Department team and be involved in consultation of local and global companies in customs regulation (the import and export of goods (works, services), or, for example, the temporary importation of equipment, raises questions of the payment of VAT, excise duties, customs fees and duties, including issues related to the functioning of the Customs Union).

Requirements:

• strong academic background (local diploma with honors and LLM from reputable university abroad);
• more than 3 years of legal experience dealing with customs legislation (experience as a lawyer in Tax Committee is required);
• deep knowledge in tax legislation;
• fluent English (Upper Intermediate - both oral and written);
• very good legal writing and drafting skills.
