Location: Almaty

Position: Lawyer in Tax Law

Duties: successful candidate will become part of a dynamic team and be involved in consultation of local and global companies in Tax Law (tax disputes, VAT refund from the state budget taxation of subsoil users, international taxation, corporate taxation, individual taxation, tax planning and optimisation in M&A transactions, tax Due Diligence, tax administration, tax accounting policy and special forms of tax registers, etc).

Requirements:

• strong academic background (local diploma with honors and LLM from reputable university abroad);
• more than 3 years of legal experience dealing with tax issues (Big 4 experience is an advantage);
• deep knowledge in tax legislation;
• fluent English (advanced level - both oral and written);
• very good legal writing and drafting skills.
