Consult Expo-2004

On 13-15 May 2004, the 1^st Kazakhstan International Exhibition on Consulting and Business Services, Consult Expo 2004, was held in Almaty, at The Regent Almaty Hotel. GRATA Law Firm took part at the Exhibition. The goal of this forum was to contribute to the development of the market of professional consulting services, ensure a practical opportunity to improve quality and effectiveness of companies' work in all business spheres.

The event was organized by the international exhibition company ITE Group Plc, UK, and its exclusive partner in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Iteca.

Official support for the project was provided by the RK Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, the Almaty City Akimat, the RK National Bank, the EBRD's Business Advice Programme (BAS Programme), the RK Chamber of Auditors, the Almaty Association of Entrepreneurs, and the Forum of the RK Association of Entrepreneurs.

The exhibitions presented more than 30 companies in the following consulting areas: finance and investment consulting; legal consulting; managerial consulting; expert consulting; franchising and leasing, marketing; licensing and certification, logistics, HR, insurance, information technologies; real estate and property; representative consulting; PR; catering consulting; reference services, translation services, security services, and design services.

Consult Expo included an extensive business programme which consisted of workshops, presentations, and roundtables. An online consult service was available as well.

The Kazakhstan International Exhibition on Consulting and Business Services, Consult Expo 2004, is planned to be held annually in order to provide opportunities for sharing experience and joint activities of domestic and foreign participants of the consulting services market.
