GRATA Law Firm sponsored the International Students Scientific Conference «Current issues of arbitration examination in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the international practice» which took place on May 11, 2004 in Almaty. The organizer of the event was the European Law Student's Association in Kazakhstan.

The most talented students-lawyers from Astana, Almaty, Karaganda and Semipalatinsk as well as from the CIS participated in the conference.

The main objectives of the event were the aprobation of the students' scientific researches in the sphere of extrajudicial ways of dispute resolutions, the exchange of experience on current problems of the development of arbitration court in Kazakhstan and a search of right directions to resolving legal problems of the activity of the arbitration in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the international practice.
