On 15—16 September, 2004, the unique in Central Asia, professional forum on mineral resources, mining and mining equipment was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, for the 10th time.
The 3rd International conference entitled «MiningWorld Central Asia 2004» was organized within the framework of the forum as one of its projects and took place in the Hyatt Regency Almaty hotel.
The main objective of the Mining-2004 conference was to demonstrate a real potential of the Mining industry in Central Asia.
High representatives of the Ministries and the relevant agencies, heads of big and medium mining enterprises, metallurgical factories, leading engineering companies, banks, financial structures and consulting firms attended the conference.

A Partner of the firm, Mr. Abai Alimov, spoke at the 2nd session of the Conference on the legal regulation of exploration and development of gold deposits. In short, his speech was dedicated to legal aspects of the mining rights: the terms of their establishment, procedure for granting rights to exploration, terms of a bidding of investment programs etc. The Speech drew special attention of the audience due to its actuality.
In general, it should be said of increasing interest of Kazakhstani enterprises and companies to this conference which is a good evidence of a new impact in the development of the mining industry of Kazakhstan.
