On December 9, 2004 in the big conference-room of the head office of GRATA Law Firm (Almaty) an internal seminar entitled «Raising Finance on the International Capital Markets» was held.

Anthony Hucklesby (Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, London; Diploma in Law at the College of Law, London; Oriel College, Oxford) who joined GRATA in July 2004 was a speaker of the seminar.

The talk concerned how Kazakh companies can raise capital by issuing debt securities, the various options available and the procedure of issue, including listing on the London Stock Exchange.
