From 6 to 11 December in the Educational Center «High-Tech for Human» (Almaty) the final part of the 3rd Independent Scientific Student Contest took place.
The event was organized by «Trends», the local Almaty Intellectual Club, «Otan» political party and the Educational Center «High-Tech for Human». Mass Media support was provided by the Khabar agency.
GRATA Law Firm contributed to the organization of the Contest by sponsoring a coffee-break for the participants.
The Contest covered 2 disciplines: jurisprudence and economics (including marketing). More than 500 applications came from all across Kazakhstan, including from Almaty, Taraz, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Aktau, Atyrau, Uralsk, Aktobe, Rudniy, Kostanai. These were submitted to the Organizing Committee of the Contest.
The qualified jury comprised professors and teachers, as well as practicing specialists. The jury carefully selected the work of 55 students. These submissions were then evaluated according to the following criteria: novelty, actuality and practical significance, determination of the problem, and suggested solutions.
