On April 22, 2005 GRATA Law Firm's 2 Almaty lawyers Amir Tussupkhanov and Dilyara Suranshiyeva and 1 Tashkent Lawyer, Zafar Malikov, were appointed Partners by internal promotion bringing the total number of Partners to 9.

The dedication of each individual lawyer to the development of the firm of the newly appointed Partners, their efforts to enhance GRATA's services to the clients became solid recognition of their work at the firm.

Dilyara Suranshiyeva received her Law Degree with honors in the Kazakh State Law Academy. Dilyara specializes in Corporate law, Investment Law, Oil and gas, Taxation Law, Litigation, Licensing, Labor and Contract Law.

Dilyara is responsible for the Branch office in Atyrau city (Kazakhstan) and is a Member of the Kazakh Petroleum Lawyers' Association.

Amir Tussupkhanov graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Law Academy. Amir specializes in Corporate law (Merger & Acquisition), Banking and Finance, Commercial and Trade Law, Dispute Resolution (including International Arbitration).

Zafar Malikov received his Law Degree in the Tashkent State Law Institute and held his LLM in the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. Zafar is a specialist of legal matters in Investment law, Tax Law, Corporate Law and Contract law.

Zafar is a Regional Manager of the Tashkent office of the company. He is a Member of Uzbekistan Bar Association and Marques — London based organization of owners and professional consultants in intellectual property.
