On April 12 in the Mariott Grand Hotel, Moscow (Russia) the 2nd annual conference on «Law business in Russia» was held. The given event was organized by the Vedomosti newspaper.

The conference was of great interest due to its topicality. The law business has become not only a significant component of doing business but has converted into an independent trend with its opportunities and outlooks.

The main objective of the conference was to come to a clear understanding of the direction the legal services market goes to, its influence to the investment climate, the role of lawyers in the business development so that it would impact further strengthening of the law business and showing up the economic potential of the country in general by discussing the topic.

The list of participants of the conference consisted of the heads of the foreign legal giants working in the Russian legal market, Russian companies, and the representatives of legal firms form the CIS. GRATA Law Firm, one of the aspect of the firm's development is expanding its presence in Russia took active part at the conference. Managing Partners Mr. Tlek Baigabulov and Mr. Aidar Sarymsakov attended the conference.

Mr. Tlek Baigabulov, the founder of the company gave a speech on the opportunities for bigger co-operation and mutual development of Russian and Kazakhstan legal firms, provided by a favorable economic climate of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On completion of the conference the representatives of GRATA Law Firm met with the Russian partner law firms, new contacts were established, steps for further company development were outlined.
