The President spoke at the Conference, as did the City Mayor Lord John Stuttard, the Chairman of the Kazyna fund Mr. Kelimbetov, EBRD representative as well as many others.

The City Mayor Lord John Stuttard stated that «the visit of the President provides us with the opportunity to further strengthen our tight mutual relations and explore the potential of further cooperation. We, as financial markets specialists, have witnessed the amazing rate of growth of the Kazakhstan’s economy. Foreign investments have been part of this growth. We are sure that our partner relationships will develop in the same effective way in the future. We fully support Kazakhstan in its desire to enter the WTO, and we are sure that this is possible by 2007. The City of London is ready to assist in achieving Kazakhstan's major goals of the creation of the Regional financial center in Almaty and the entering the top 50 countries in the World.»
