Gulsulu Ibrayeva, Development Manager of GRATA Law Firm's Environmental Law Department, gave a speech at the recent seminar entitled «Environmental Audit; Legislation.»

The Seminar was held from 22—26 January 2007 in Almaty at the request of the Kazakhstan Scientific and Research Institute of Ecology and Climate and was aimed at industrialists and ecological consulting organizations.

The Seminar was organized by the Center for retraining and raising the level of environmental protection's skills RSE «Informative and Analytical Center of Environmental Protection» of Kazakhstan's Ministry for Environmental Protection.

The 66 delegates heard the lecture entitled «Industrial Environmental Controls in the Ecological Code of Kazakhstan» given by Ms Ibrayeva.

The lecture raised considerable interest and Ms Ibrayeva provided detailed answers to the questions.
