Gulsulu Ibrayeva, Development manager of the Environmental Law Department at GRATA Law firm gives a speech «Stages of reforming industrial environmental controls and monitoring in Kazakhstan» at the training entitled «Methodological and instrumental provision of industrial monitoring».
The training has been held from January 29 to February 2 in Almaty. It's organized by the KANMSD (Kazakhstani Association of Nature Management for Sustainable Development) for its members. GRATA is a KANMSD member from 2007.
In the new Ecological Code of the RoK much attention is paid to the issues of industrial environmental controls and monitoring. The perfection of the legislation in the sphere of industrial environmental controls and monitoring was held in accordance with the international standards. Thus the training is aimed to review the most important and polemic issues on methodological and instrumental provision of the industrial environmental controls and monitoring; to work out recommendations for revision of current legislative acts taking into account the practical experience of the participants.
The training is aimed at the environmental services specialists of big subsoil companies in the oil and gas, metallurgical and heat-and-power engineering spheres.
The attendees of the training will learn new requirements of the industrial environmental controls and monitoring` realization, as well as the international approach of problem solving and the ways of monitoring`s optimization and improvement at Kazakhstani enterprises.
