On 9 October, 2007 a bilateral meeting between Italian and Kazakhstani business circles was held at the Exhibition Centre “Atakent” in the hall of the “Bakshasarai” building in Almaty. The meeting was organized in the frame of the official visit of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Italy, Mr. Romano Prodi to Kazakhstan.
The event attracted much attention from both countries: officials, heads and specialists of industrial, trade and consulting companies attended the meeting.
Italy showed an interest in developing economic cooperation between our countries. It's quite interested in foreign investments and is investigating its options.
The meeting passed in an animated manner: the participants exchanged contacts, discussed the process of implementation of the present joint projects and the possibilities of new projects arising in the future.
Aidar Sarymsakov (Senior Partner), Lyaila Uzakova (Managing Partner), Zhanara Iskhakova (Partner), Sanzhan Burambayev (Senior Lawyer) represented GRATA Law Firm at the meeting. During the meeting they established new business contacts with the representatives of the Italian side. The Italian companies showed interest in the services rendered by GRATA in the Region and its potential for rendering legal services in Italy.
