International Forum “Real Estate and Construction in Kazakhstan”

Zhanara Iskhakova, Partner at GRATA took part in the International Forum “Real Estate and Construction in Kazakhstan”, which was held on 1-3 April, 2008 in the Intercontinental Hotel, Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Forum was organized by Adam Smith Conferences. The following important issues were discussed at the Forum such as the internal and external factors that influence the real estate and construction sectors in Kazakhstan, state initiatives and legislative issues and the development of Astana and Almaty, focusing on the construction and real estate sectors possibilities in the Caspian region and other large cities of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the forum, companies and participants were provided with actual information on the construction of offices, trade real estate, warehouses and logistic centers, creation of competitive market of construction materials and parallel working groups with the analysis of specific project examples and review of investment opportunities and financing methods.
