GRATA Representatives took part in the Business Meeting of Malaysian and Kazakhstani Petroleum Companies

On 8 June 2015, in Almaty there was a business meeting of representatives of Malaysian and Kazakhstani oil-and-gas companies.

The marketing mission of oil-and-gas delegation from Malaysia incorporated business events and individual business meetings between industrial companies of two countries.           

The business mission included nine leading Malaysian oil-and-gas companies engaged in pipelining and servicing thereof, contracting mechanical, electrical and concrete works, control of measuring instruments, non-destructive testing of pipelines and management of 'turnkey' projects.

According to the first Secretary Director of the Trade Department of the Embassy of Malaysia in Kazakhstan - Hanib Haikal, the Department headed thereby was opened in Almaty on 22 April this year. Its target is to promote cooperation between Kazakhstani and Malaysian business communities. "Almaty is chosen because of its strategic business location and hopefully will become a bridge between Malaysia, Kazakhstan, and Central Asia as well," said the foreign diplomat.
