Igor Lukin took part in the Round Table on Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation in Moscow

Igor Lukin, Head of GRATA International Corporate Law Department in Kazakhstan office (Almaty), took part in the Round Table on Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation organized by the Eurasian Economic Commission and held on June 19 in Moscow (http://www.eurasiancommission.org/ru/nae/news/Pages/19-06-2019-4.aspx).

The experts discussed current practices and trends in national and supranational antitrust regulation, new legislation in this area, and shared their experiences in organizing effective interaction between business and regulators.

During the event, participants were also informed about the content of international treaties and acts included in Union law, in the field of competition and antitrust regulation, liability for violations of the general rules of competition in the cross-border markets of the EAEU, requirements for the paperwork to apply to the Commission, etc.

Deputy Head of FAS Russia Andrei Tsyganov, Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia Gegam Gevorgyan, Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Vezhnovets also took part in the meeting. In addition, among the participants were representatives of UNCTAD, the Association of European Businesses, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the EAEU business community.
