GRATA International participated at the AmCham's traditional business lunch

On 19 October 2017 the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) convened a traditional monthly business lunch in Baku. The business lunch began with the presentation of the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Sekuta and the adoption of amendments to the AmCham Charter by the Board of Directors of the Chamber.

Over 100 delegates from AmCham member companies took part in the meeting. In addition, the participants of the event were able to establish business contacts with representatives of the US trade mission. The Ambassador Mr. Robert Sekuta spoke about US-Azerbaijan bilateral relations and development prospects, about US investments in economic cooperation not only in the energy sector, but also in the non-oil and economic sector of Azerbaijan. He also stressed the importance of AmCham's contribution to the development of relations between the two countries and the improvement of the business environment in Azerbaijan. Finally, the president of AmCham in Azerbaijan, Mr. Nuran Kerimov, briefed the participants on the proposals for changing the Charter of the Chamber. Representatives of the permanent members of the Chamber participated in the voting in accordance with strict procedures, and the proposed amendments were approved by a majority vote.
