Arman Mendybayev, Partner (Almaty)
 Education Arman graduated from the Al Farabi Kazakh State National University and received a Master’s degree in Mathematics in 2002. Experience Arman is a Partner and the Head of Transfer Pricing Department at GRATA Law Firm. Arman joined GRATA in 2008. In 2002-2008 he worked as the Head of Department of Large Taxpayers Administration at Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His main duties were analysis, methods development and auditing of large taxpayers. In 1999-2002 Arman worked as a Chief Specialist of the Ministry of State Income of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the Ministry of State Income of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman mainly dealt with analysis of large taxpayers’ activity. Arman participated in development and implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On State Supervision When Applying Transfer Pricing”, which came into force in 2001. Arman speaks Kazakh, fluent English and Russian. |
