Saule Akhmetova, Partner (Almaty)
 Education Saule graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Law in with a distinction in 1998. She then undertook extensive legal training with an oil company in Essen. Following this training, she returned to the al-Farabi University to undertake an LLM, which she obtained with a distinction. Experience Saule has extensive experience in corporate, oil and gas, tax and employment law, having been involved in transactions for a broad range of clients from a variety of sectors. Saule's practice is focussed on oil producing companies and oil industry service companies, as well as financial institutions. She acts as a regular corporate adviser to a number of high profile international and Kazakh clients. Saule speaks Kazakh, Russian and English and is learning Turkish and German. |
