Tlek Baigabulov, Senior Partner, Advocate
 Education Tlek graduated from the Kazakh State University named after Al-Farabi (Almaty), Faculty of Law in 1992. He went on to take management courses in Kazakhstan, the USA (Clarks University, Mass.) and the United Kingdom (Luton University). Tlek has undertaken secondments at major international law firms in London, Hamburg and New York. Experience Tlek has been the firm’s Senior Partner since its inception in 1992. As such, he has overseen all the major projects GRATA has been involved with. His background is in corporate, commercial and natural resources sectors. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, and has written several articles as well as co-authored a book on subsoil law in Kazakhstan. Tlek is a member of the Almaty Bar, the Kazakhstan Bar Association and is a member of the board of the Kazakh Petroleum Lawyers’ Association. Tlek speaks Kazakh, Russian and advanced English. |
