On 22nd November 2005 the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 89-III ЗРК «On Introduction of Amendments to certain Tax Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan» with the effective date of 1st January 2006.
