This particular article is devoted to some key legal issues that may be faced by foreign jurisdiction entities willing to make deposits in local authorized banks, both in foreign hard currency and Azerbaijani manats. This article also addresses to some of Azerbaijani law requirements on ability of foreign entities to extend loans to local Azerbaijani entities, some of the specific provisions of the appropriate Azerbaijani laws and regulations governing these issues.
