Rashid graduated from the Kazakh State University of Law in with High Honours in 1984.

Since then, he has undertaken various courses, including seminars on such topics as Guaranteeing International Ecological Conventions and Ecological and Tax legislation.

Since graduating, he has specialized in Environmental law, as well as Administrative and Criminal law.

Rashid has extensive experience in Environmental and Criminal law. He worked for 20 years in the Office of the Public Prosecutor in Kazakhstan, before becoming in the Environmental Prosecutor for the City of Almaty in 2004.

Rashid?s practice is focussed on Environmental Protection law. He acts as a regular corporate adviser to a number of high profile international and Kazakh clients.
