Education
In 1997 Sofia graduated from the Uzbekistan State University of World Economy and Diplomacy, International Law Faculty, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law. Since then, in 2003, she has obtained a Master of Jurisprudence degree at Oxford University, United Kingdom.She has taken part in numerous legal and management courses in both Europe and Uzbekistan. Moreover, from the year 2001 to 2002, Sofiya undertook internship at Holland & Knight LLP, a New York based law firm, as an international lawyer.
Sofia speaks Russian, English and French.

Sofia specializes in Corporate, Investment, Finance & Banking, Securities and M&A law. She had got excellent experience and expertise in these sectors by working with clients in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian Republics.Major European banks, the Korean bank, the Russian bank, the Kazakhstan bank, major European investment companies acquiring shareholding in banks of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, underwriting companies acting for the Kazakhstan major bank going for IPO are included among Sofiya’s recent clients.
Sofia holds valid advocate’s licence.
