Umid is a Partner and the Head of the Commercial Law Group at GRATA Law firm in Tashkent.

Umid specializes in areas of natural resources, corporate law, investment law, international transactions and currency regulation. He has been advising a wide range of the largest international corporations in drafting multimillion contracts and legal servicing of investment projects in the spheres of oil and gas industry, telecommunications and automobile manufacturing on the issues of project financing, taxation and tax planning, corporate mergers and acquisitions etc.

Aripdjanov is a Member of the National Lawyers? Association of Uzbekistan, Tashkent City Bar Chamber.

Education

Aripdjanov holds the degrees of LL.M. in US legal studies magna cum laude and Ph.D. in Uzbekistan Jurisprudence.

Umid speaks fluent Russian and English.
