Seminar “Entering securities market - successful strategy and leading practice”Zhanara Iskhakova, Partner at GRATA Law Firm gave a speech at the recent seminar entitled «Entering securities market - successful strategy and leading practice», which was held on the October 11, 2007. The informative and educative seminar was organized by the Agency of the RK on Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty city and Kazakhstan Press-Club in Intercontinental Astana Hotel.

The purpose of the seminar is introducing the practical decisions of companies' entering securities market as an efficient method of bringing additional financial means and capitalization growth and discussion of topical issues relating.
50 representatives of big and medium home companies both issuers of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and Special Trading Floor of RFCA and those who intend to become issuers took part in the seminar.
Leading experts of regulating state bodies and major financial companies, audit companies, law firms and  consulting firms as well as securities market experts were invited as speakers. Deputy Chairman of ARA RFCA, Alina Aldambergen, KASE Listing department Director Galina Tsaliuk, experts of Renaissance Capital,  "TuranAlem Securities", "Kazkommerts Securities", "Grata", "KPMG", "Resmi", "Financial Dynamics", "Centras Securities" are among them.    
Seminar included sections on all aspects of company's entrance in securities market ranging from state regulation of capital market, requirements, and recommendations to the methods of increasing company assets. It enabled the participants to gain full value information by discussing concrete examples, studying practical steps and being involved in interactive debates.
Agenda included such topics as financing strategy selection, business assessment as preparation for share placement, securities floatation technology, legal issues during preparation for issuing, importance of credit rating and corporate management, company's transparency and investor relations.
 On completion of each section participants had an opportunity to discuss wide variety of related questions.
