Kazakhstani-Korean Business ForumKazakhstani-Korean Business ForumKazakhstani-Korean Business ForumOn 11 October 2007, a business forum of Kazakhstani and Korean representatives of official and business circles was held in the INTERCONTINENTAL - THE ANKARA IN KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Medical, aircraft, engineering, construction and oil companies together with other big enterprisers formed the Korean delegation. The Kazakhstan participants included: representatives of engineering, petroleum-refining, servicing and consulting companies. Aidar Sarymsakov (Senior Partner), Lyaila Uzakova (Managing Partner), Zhanara Iskhakova (Partner, Head of Industry and Trade Department) and Saule Akhmetova (Partner, Director of office in Almaty) from GRATA Law Firm took part in the forum. The participants concluded that the event marked a new phase in developing bilateral trade and economic relations in such diverse spheres as: oil and gas industry, energy, engineering, transport and communications, delivery and maintenance of refinery, mining, agricultural equipment, scientific-innovation activity, IT technologies and investment projects. |
